We all strive to be healthy, happy and successful. Some days we feel more accomplished than others and some days we are just (for lack of a better word) stuck. Today I want to share some great advice that was passed on to me that I am truly grateful for. I hope this advice might stick with you, especially on those “stuck” kind of days. Here’s to you for becoming your best self…
Forgive and Heal
Drama happens. Sometimes it is inevitable. You have to decide if you are going to let issues from the past dictate how you feel today or how you will feel or act in the future. Can you let said past problems roll off your shoulders or maybe you need to confront the issue head on. Whatever you decide make sure it sits well with you. Built up anger leads to stress, anxiety and depression which in turn leads to bad health. Is it really worth it? Try to forgive and move on. Could you even possibly thank the situation for happening because maybe somehow now you are a different person because of it. Even if it taught you one thing about yourself you were not aware of before. Maybe you’re proud of how you handled the situation or maybe you found something you could work on to move forward on becoming a better you. Once you forgive you can lay the situation to bed and heal.
I know I talk about this a lot and I know some people think it is not for them. I can promise you that if you get nothing else out of it you will get the feeling of calmness. Calm people are usually more rational and pleasant to be around. They are better at keeping stress levels down and tend to lead a healthier life. Want to try meditating now!? Try 5 minutes a day for one work week (Monday – Friday) to sit in silence and relax. Maybe you’ll miss it Saturday and crave that 5 minutes of peace. Here are more helpful tips for you on meditating.
Take Care Of Your Body Like Your Life Depends On It…because basically it does
That means eat healthy: greens, beans, fruits and steamed vegetables are your essential daily foods for optimal health.
Get some fresh air, take a walk, try some light weights, anything to get you moving and your heart rate up is so important.
Make A Life You Look Forward To Living
Make sure you have someone or something in your life that genuinely makes you happy. Reach out to an old friend and make a plan to catch up. Go on an adventure and see an area near you that you have never explored before. Set a goal so you have something you look forward to obtaining. Reach that goal then make another! Only you can make your life what you want it to be. So go out there and live it. Take risks. If they don’t work out at least you tried instead of always wondering what if.
Offer The World Your Help
Are you really good at something, do you have a special talent, are you easy to talk to? Good…go and share it throughout your community. It takes one kind act to make someones day and I can guarantee it will make you feel pretty woderful too.

Believe In Your Gut Feelings
Your gut is usually right. Yeah, that sounded weird but it’s true. If something inside you is telling you “this is not right” or “this is going to help you” go with it. Deep down you know what is best for you.
Push Your Boundries A Little Everyday
Do something that scares you or puts you out of your comfort zone at the very least once a week. By doing this it opens up doors to new possibilites that you never realized existed to you before because you were a bit nervous or uncomfortable to try. What to you have to loose? Add a little excitement to your life!
If It Does Not Serve You, Let It Go
Don’t let clutter in your body, mind or home for that matter weigh you down. If you know longer have purpose for something even a feeling…let it go.

Love Who You Are
If you don’t love yourself, why should someone else? Accept, nourish and love who you are. There is no one like you in this world and thank God for that because that is what makes YOU so special. Embrace who you are and what you have and most importantly be proud of it!
