First of all, make sure not to consume too much as too much of anything is not a good thing and could do more harm than good. That being said, most pleople prefer to dilute 1-2 teaspoons to 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in water per day. No more then 2 tablespoons (30 ml) per day.  And as always, it would be smart to check with your doctor to make sure apple cider vinegar is safe for you.

Hi, Rachel! I just bought a large quantity of apple cider vinegar to use in pickling okra and was wondering what I was going to do with the large amount I left over; you’ve come up with so many brilliant ideas, you’ve totally solved my problem! We’re always looking for healthier, organic alternatives and I had no idea that apple cider vinegar was so versatile, particularly with respect to allergies. Thank you so much for all the great suggestions!

Wow, THank you for all of the information on apple cider vinegar. I have used in my hair before and for cooking but I didn’t realize all of the benefits.. 🙂 Thanks again. Your site is beautiful, too.

Yes, I am a firm believer in ACV. Especially Bragg’s although I only use it for heartburn. I do know people who use it for the other things also. Isn’t it good for sunburn, too? Haven’t had to worry about that yet, but when I do, I will.

I also suggest as a supplement you check out Asea(scienceofasea.com) as I take that every day religiously!!

Hi Brent! Yes, apple cider vinegar does help soothe sunburns. Just make sure to dilute the ACV with water on a cotton ball before applying to the skin.
I have heard of the ACV supplement but haven’t tried it yet. I will have to give it a shot. Thanks for the tip 🙂

I have heard that apple cider vinegar was good for you but I didn’t know the extent of it. You have listed a whole bunch of great benefits for using apple cider vinegar.
I have apple cider vinegar and use it when I make a salad. The dressing is just olive oil and vinegar and it taste great. Do I still get the benefits using it this way instead of mixing it with water and drinking it?
